AW16 Paris Fashion Week

This is an AW16 invitation that I produced for Paris Fashion Week for the fine jewellery brand I am currently collaborating with.

I used collage with pencil details as always and emphasised the beautiful AW16 jewellery too.

Mooching in Paris is my favourite past time <3 

Upon our day trip travels we discovered this cuuuute haberdashery named Ultramod that stocked an abundance of beautiful coloured ribbons/ buttons/ fabrics and tassels oh my! I purchased some of their gorgeous pink velvet ribbon <3

This is another collage doll I didn't get around to posting on here...it features photos I took outside the AW12 Paris Fashion Week Miu Miu show of Katy Perry and blogger Hanneli Mustaparta. She's wearing Balmain layered over Stella McCartney, an Alexander McQueen ruff, Dolce & Gabbana bag and Fred Butler shoes. I think Katy's ponytail quite suits her!

Today I took a day trip to Paris for the last day of fashion week and attended the Elie Saab AW12/13 show, complete with their signature array of beautiful beaded and sequinned gowns <3

10 Hours in Paris

I had a fantastic day in Paris yesterday- a day in fashion that saw the likes of Chanel and Valentino show their SS12 collections. It was so much fun scoping out the best dressed and snapping their beautiful outfits for my next illustration project, we saw some pretty impressive outfits! We also had the most amazing hot chocolate in the famous Parisian tea-room Angelina's...a must if you ever visit.

Magical PFW

      

The last 48 hours of Paris Fashion Week saw the likes of Chanel and Louis Vuitton showing their SS12 collections. Chanel showed at the beautiful Grand Palais which boasts the most opulent glass roof below which layed a magical underwater world where the models were strung with pearls and shell purses. A day later at Louis Vuitton saw a fashion merry-go-round spinning in the centre of the runway and a beautiful collection of embellished icy pastel coloured dresses and feathered skirts.

I'm soooo excited that next month I'm taking a trip to Paris during fashion week on the day that Chanel, Valentino and McQueen are showing. I'm hoping to get some great backstage photos and get my 'Tommy Ton' on! I love backstage and voyeuristic fashion photos, I find them so inspiring.
