J'adore Dior Cafe at Harrods

I strongly recommend you all to visit Harrods this month for the Christian Dior exhibition and pop up cafe on the fourth floor < 3 

You can have afternoon tea in the cafe- I opted for the scallops with spinach & crab and pomme puree with a glass of raspberry & vanilla lemonade ummmmhmmmmm. 

You can then have a stroll through the exhibition featuring couture from the man himself through to John Galliano and Raf Simons. Also check out the telephone box a la Dior that will spritz you with Miss Dior perfume < 3

Swim.

Since my short course in lingerie and swimwear design I took late last year at Central Saint Martins, I have been busy experimenting and practising on my new sewing machine! I'm heading off to Mexico soon so I can't wait to wear my own designs :) As you can see, I've since made a swimsuit, a bikini with a silk printed peplum and knickerbockers (won't be wearing those in Mexico, ha!).

Tim Walker: Story Teller

  

 

This month I visited the Tim Walker Story Teller exhibition at Somerset House in association with Mulberry. I loved the props- my fave was the skeleton who was just mooching in the corridor and the swan boat which I want in my house! The only thing missing were perhaps some of the super-cute costumes from the shoots :( other than that I <3'ed it :)

New Collage

So it's been a little while since I've done a collage dolly, so to get back into the swing of things for 2013 I have also produced a gif as a Brucey bonus :) 

My latest collage features Givenchy 09' shoes and lace skirt, a frilly Chanel Cruise 13 Collection top and bow, a vintage corset and sunglasses & a scrummy milkshake with a cherry on top <3

Chanel Little Black Jacket

Last month I took a trip to the Chanel 'The Little Black Jacket' exhibition at the Saatchi gallery which was fantastic. I really enjoyed the exhibit and the beautiful portraits, shot by Karl Lagerfeld, of a wide range of familiar faces. As you can see, I have added my only little twist on to each image above; It was so difficult to decide which were my favourites- but of course Baptiste Giabiconi is one of them as he is pretty gorgeous <3
