Vogue's FNO at Thomas Lyte 2012

September 6th saw Vogue's Fashion's Night Out come back to London where the wonderful Thomas Lyte in Burlington Arcade, Mayfair invited me back as one of their live illustrators for the event. Burlington Arcade was transformed into a burlesque themed emporium where visitors were treated to an evening of performance artists, popcorn and candyfloss. In the store we were joined by Marie Claire writers and beauty editors, all in all an incredibly fun evening!

Summer

Tomorrow I am VERY excited to start interning at Fiona Leahy creative events and production design agency for the summer. Having produced press events and parties for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney and Matthew Williamson to name a few, I can't wait to help out and lend my creativity to their many exciting projects!

The One That Got Away

A few days ago, Coco Rocha posted this beautiful photo on her twitter, revealing it as the image that famously got away in The September Issue in which Anna Wintour dismissed the photo from going into print, outraging the wonderful Grace Coddington and we can now see why. The photo by Steven Meisel is AMAZING, I love it. It's very Romeo and Juliet, very romantic...I also love the French Bulldogs in the ruffs, I want some for my doggies!

Tangerine Dream

One of my most favourite trends for SS11 is the tangerine and coral coloured theme. I bought this cute playsuit when I travelled to Thailand in July and can't wait to wear it this summer...although I have to look past this horrible english weather first, I have something to look forward to!

Master of Illustration

Thursday evening the London College of Fashion held a talk lead by the industry's most successful and loved fashion illustrator, David Downton. Talking us through his career, inspirations and portfolio, Mr Downton presented to students of fashion illustration, fashion design and super model Erin O Connor of whom he has worked very closely with. It was a fantastic event in which i was able to gain a great insight into a hugely successful career within fashion illustration.

December Issue

In this month's Vogue features this beautiful photo shoot- Star Signs with the set design by my absolute favourite Shona Heath and photographed by Tim Gutt with the theme based on horoscope signs with fashion forecasting. This is the prettiest photo shoot i've seen in a long time. Enjoy!

Aries! My star sign x

This is a gorgeous image i had to add that features in the Starry Nights story, covering the greatest fashion parties in the last decade. This image is from Nick Knight's masked ball and shows a model arriving at midnight as a John Galliano clad Cinderella.

What's this magical?!

In partnership with London College of Fashion and the Victoria and Albert Museum, i was chosen as one of four stylists to choose and piece together garments designed by LCF menswear and womenswear students for a photo shoot that took place at the English National Ballet’s studios as part of a project named ‘Diaghilev and the Golden Age of the Ballets Russes’.
These photos will go on to be showcased in a special event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in the autumn 2010...

In October's edition of British Vogue, my favourite photographer Tim Walker has covered theDiaghilev and the Golden Age of the Ballets Russes’ subject with this amazing editorial named Russian Dolls with the beautiful Karlie Kloss.
