Party Plans

I've just started planning my sister's milestone birthday party and I'm opting for the theme of roses for the evening; I've started designing the invites too. I want to make it all very Dior-esque- that's the plan!

Parisian Fashion

Carven opened its first boutique on Monday March 28 at 36 rue Saint-Sulpice, Paris. This cute dress is a winner, I really want to go back to Paris to visit the vintage shops in Bastille too!

Fashion Inkblot

Here is an illustration I have produced exclusively for 1883 Magazine. They depict style icon Anna Dello Russo in an ink blot style.I'm looking forward to seeing the internet article they are writing up on me!

Mothers day treats

This year I won't be here for Mothers day as I'm on holiday so I've had to prepare my mother's gifts in advance and thought I'd make them extra special so at work yesterday me and my work friend wrapped and ribboned her gifts in a rather over the top but pretty fashion! All done by us at the Harrods gift wrapping counter- I just hope she likes what's inside them :)

This week I treated myself to a few little goodies that I'd wanted for a while. I was in desperate need of a new purse so opted for this gorgeous Miu Miu quilted soft nude leather wallet. I also wanted a nice piece of jewellery for spring/ summer and my holiday so I bought this beautiful YSL 'arty opal' ring in jade.

Maison Moschino

I NEED to visit the Maison Moschino in Milan- it's so pretty! I think i'd opt for the Sleeping in a Ballgown or Sweet Room :)

Laissez Faire Magazine

This month I am featured in the latest issue of Laissez Faire Magazine that covers my fashion illustrations as well as an interview about my career at the moment and what got me to where I am today. To read this month's issue, click on the link below-

      Miu Miu <3

I just had to show off these cute sandals I just bought for my holiday in two weeks! Yes I love anything with a bow on- and these happen to be covered in them :)

Instead of buying a new notebook for next term, I thought i'd just make one myself! I covered a blank spare sketchbook I had in some material that I painted with white emulsion and printed an illustration that I'm fond of which I did during my time at Vivienne Westwood. It features the model wearing a Red Label golden taffeta cocktail dress which I loved.

Little Books of Fashion

Christian Lacroix- Sleeping Beauty
So I've been invading Waterstones again, adding to my fashion book collection and came across some lovely finds. Firstly I went there with the intention of buying Christian Lacroix's Sleeping Beauty by Camilla Morton- a fashion fairytale memoir complete with the most beautiful and diverse collection of fashion illustrations. I also found The Little Book of Fashion by Christian Dior, which firstly looks beautiful on any book shelf and is a great present for every fashion lover.

Anna Dello Russo- her clothes are insane! Shot by Tommy Ton at PFW- I love it :)

An image of an illustration I was working on from my visual diary I have given in for my internship- which I have finished now :( I have some work coming out in three different magazines this month and next though which is exciting and several other projects that i'm working on so it's all still go go go!

Vivienne Westwood AW11 Gold Label

I had the most amazing time in Paris; the Vivienne Westwood AW11 Gold Label show was fantastic! The garments were so beautiful, alot more extravagant, intricate and special pieces in comparison to Red Label. Vivienne and husband Andreas were a lot more hands on with this collection, carefully going through every look and styling it with the accessories. I even got to walk down the runway myself! Model Irina Lazareanu was running late so during the rehearsal the head of production asked me to step in which was so funny, so there I am in front of Eliza Cummings walking down the Paris runway with all the gorgeous six foot something models in full hair, makeup and heels...and then me:

Now some photos of the real models, ha!
